obagi sunscreenHi Everyone!

It’s still SUNNY in Vancouver and the weather forecast is for more SUN! SUN! SUN!   YEAH!!

So PLEASE wear your sunscreen!  Not sure what to get?

I recommend:

Obagi’s Nu-Derm Sun Shield SPF 50

Why? Because it combines high UVB absorption and dynamic UVA blockage in an elegant, matte finish with 10.5% zinc oxide and 7.5% octinoxate. Non-whitening, PABA-free, and fragrance-free. Great for all skin types.

That means it’s great for the most sensitive of skins. Yes, even rosacea and acne prone skin, EVEN children! (I apply it on my toddler) And for those of you with darker skin tones – no white residue!

How to use?

PLEASE apply a liberal amount 20 minutes prior to sun exposure and RE-APPLY every two hours when you are in the sun.

“Not realistic!”  you say while sipping a Bellini on one of Vancouver’s lovely patios?

I have an answer for that too!

I recommend:

Sunforgettable Mineral Powder Brush SPF 30 by Colorescience

Why? Because it is a lightweight mineral powder with a barely-there feel that provides a safe, non-irritating, instant UVA and UVB sun protection. The self-dispensing powder brush makes this sheer formula easy to apply and reapply throughout the day.

That means you don’t have to excuse yourself and go into the bathroom to wash off all your make-up, re-apply your sunscreen, then re-apply your make-up. Just dust and go! (We do still recommend you do this in the bathroom not on the patio and for heaven’s sake – park your car if you are driving and no, being stopped at a red light is not parked!
